My Personal Experience In an Infrared Sauna
When I first used an infrared sauna it was not what I expected. I had been to wet/dry saunas in swimming pools
before, and I usually couldn't stay in them more than 10 minutes. I stayed in my first infrared sauna a good 30
minutes and was completely comfortable. Not only that, I was sweating more than I did in the other saunas.
I began using my sauna every morning for 30 to 45 minutes. The first few days it was a bit hot on my back when I
leaned against the heater grids, but after that I got used to it and actually enjoyed the warmth. The first thing I
noticed was that after a sauna and shower each morning, I had a lot more energy for the rest of the day. After my
sauna, I would lay down on the couch for a while to cool down before I had a shower. When I did, I could feel my
heart beating as if I had just been jogging. I had read an article about how an infrared sauna was as good as an
aerobic workout for the cardiovascular system, and now I could see why. Another thing I noticed was that the
towels I used to sit on and dry off with had a real bad odor. In fact it was so bad that I had to buy a plastic pail
with a lid to store them in before washing so they wouldn't smell up the whole house. I thought "Gee, I must
have some pretty bad toxins in me to smell like that." Another thing I noticed after a few weeks was how soft
and smooth my skin was becoming, especially my face. I used to buy a product in a tube which had a grit like feel
to use on my face in the shower, but now all that roughness seemed to be disappearing. And another thing I
noticed was if I woke up with stiffness, or aches or pains, somehow after my sauna, they were GONE. I went to
my massage therapist whom I hadn't seen for a few months, and the first thing she said was "Boy, are you ever
loose, what have you been doing?" So I told her about my sauna every morning.
I began getting into a routine. I would enter my sauna about 5 minutes after I turned it on with my towels and just
sit down and relax for a while as my body warmed up. Then I would do my stretches, squats, and isometric
exercises until I began to sweat. Then it was relax time again as I began to sweat quite strongly. If I got too hot, I
would open the door slightly to let some cooler air in. When I had enough, I turned off the sauna and sat there
for a little while to cool off. Then I stepped out, dried off, and hit the couch to cool off before my shower. I do
this every day and I am totally hooked. I feel so good after my morning sauna, that I don't think I will ever stop.
It's hard to go back, and who would want to. I am sure that as time goes by I will find more things that my morning
sauna will do for me.

Well, I still start each day with a 30 minute sauna and I still feel Wonderful after it. In fact Diane and I both use the
sauna every day, and when we don't we can sure tell the difference. I still sweat like crazy and love it but my
towels don't stink as bad as they did at first. And my heart doesn't seem to beat as fast as it used to. But I still
can't believe how good I feel every day. I have no aches and pains anymore and feel loose and flexible all day
long with lots of energy. All I can say is that I am soooooo thankful for being in this business because not only
have I experienced a great improvement in my life from using my sauna, but we get so many emails from
customers who have found help and relief from so many different conditions by using their infrared sauna
and that's what makes it all worth while.

Still feeling great and still using the sauna every morning. Just wanted to mention something that I noticed. We
don't get sick. People around us get the flu or colds, but we don't. Haven't been sick for a few years now and I
am sure the sauna has something to do with it. It is supposed to help the immune system and now I believe it.

Well what can I say....when we don't start each day with a sauna, (like when we are away) we just don't feel as
good as when we do, and can't wait to get home and have our sauna every morning. I still think this is the
greatest invention of the century, and our goal now is to be healthy till we are 100 years old. It may not happen,
but it's a nice goal to have, and I am sure the sauna will help get us part way there.
