Temperature Settings:

The best way to use your sauna is to set the temperature at the highest setting and go in and out at your
preference.  If you like it cooler go in at about 90 if you like it hotter, go in at about 100.   This way you will get
the full power of infrared throughout your sauna.  You can set the sauna at a specific temperature if you want
to, but once that temperature is reached, it will cut in and out to maintain that temperature.  Some
manufacturers use a regulator to try to maintain a specific temperature without the sauna cutting in and out.
However, that is like turning the burner on your stove down to simmer.  You only get a trickle of infrared during
that time.  Whichever way you decide to use your sauna, it is not going to make that much of a difference for a
30 minute sauna.   Our heaters have a double ceramic wall and are specially designed to put out more infrared
than heat.  This makes our sauna much more comfortable while you sweat more because of the increased
infrared activity on your body.

General Tips:

1.  Bring a rough face cloth into the sauna with you, and when you start to sweat rub your face vigorously with
the face cloth several times.  This will remove dead skin and rejuvenate skin cells which will result in better
looking, more supple skin.  It is also good to rub your entire body with a rough face cloth or a body brush for
the same purpose.

2.  Some studies have shown that it is best not to drink water before or during your sauna.  This way it forces
your cells to give up their water which contain toxins.  However everyone is different, so you may find it better
to drink water before, during, or after your sauna.   If you have a hard time sweating at first, drink water before
and during your sauna.  This will help you sweat.

3.  The sauna is a perfect place to do some stretching and isometric exercises.  The best time to enter your
sauna is about 10 minutes after it is turned on.  This gives your body time to warm up with the sauna before you
start sweating.  As soon as you are warm start doing some stretches.  This will help you sweat more, and when
your muscles are warm they will respond better to stretching.

4.  If you can get up 1/2 an hour earlier, morning is the best time to use your sauna.  If you do some stretching,
then sweat, and follow that up with a few glasses of pure water, after your shower you won't believe how
energized you will feel all day.

5.  After a 30 minute sauna  it is best to relax and cool down before you shower.  If you don't you could keep
sweating after your shower (especially if you take hot showers) which would leave toxins on your skin.

6.  It is best not to lay down in an infrared sauna.  The way the heaters are positioned you will get the most
benefits by sitting upright.

7.  It does not matter at what temperature you enter the sauna, it will still take about 15 minutes before you start
sweating.  So you do not have to wait till the sauna warms up before you go in.  Go in sooner and warm up with
the sauna.
